Wong Tai Sin Temple

"Wong Tai Sin” means the God of Healing. Wong Tai Sin Temple is the most well-known Taoist shrine in Hong Kong among locals and tourists. It was built in honour of a popular Hong Kong saint, the Great Immortal Wong Chuping. The temple is famous that the Deity Wong Tai Sin could make every wish come true. Most people come here for fortune-telling. You can get your fortune told by shaking a bamboo stick out of a box onto the floor. It’s free. Other than spiritual things, the architecture here is beautiful, there is a garden behind the temple which offers a scenic view, and many new facilities were built. Worth visiting even if you are not a religious believer. There was a lot of delicious food available too. Address: Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple, 2, Chuk Yuen Village, Kowloon, Hong Kong How To Get There: It’s about 3 minutes walking distance from MTR Wong Tai Sin Station Exit B2 or B3. Open daily 7 a.m. - 5:30 pm. Free entrance. Ambience/Facilities: 8/10 Rating: 4/5
