Stepping into the quiet and elegant Japanese Zen garden of Jion-in Temple is like entering a vibrant Zen ink painting. Passing through the torii gate entrance, a pond as green as a deep pool comes into view, with a delicate bridge suspended above it, reflecting the scenery on the water surface and creating an ink-wash landscape painting. Following the shaded path, walking on neatly laid blue bricks, the sides of the path are planted with lush pine and cypress trees, whose green and dripping branches and leaves are suddenly cleansed by the gentle breeze, bringing a fresh pine scent. Occasionally, the chirping of birds from the high branches comes through, crisp and melodious, adding a touch of enchanting vitality to this quietness.
