From Burqin to Karamay, the nearly 300 kilometers journey features only one scenic spot along the way—the World Devil City. Why is it called this name? Because the wind has sculpted the Yardang landforms into various shapes, and coupled with the sound of the wind and sand, over time, it has earned this name. It is also almost a 100% must-visit spot on the Northern Xinjiang loop. The entire scenic area is very large, divided into several zones. After entering, you can take the eco-friendly vehicles provided by the park to visit each spot in turn. Among them, the most famous are the filming locations for movies and TV dramas such as 'Seven Swords Under the Tianshan Mountains' and 'Hero'. When I visited, there were few people, and I was lucky enough to catch a post-rain rainbow and a stunning sunset, all of which added a beautiful filter to the scenery. Allocating about 3 hours for the entire site is about right, and before heading to Karamay, consider it a leisurely classic.
