City Gallery - KL, Malaysia

City Gallery is a small museum that tells about the history of Kuala Lumpur. Its main feature, as the name implies, is that there are old photographs and newspaper clippings depicting the city in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. There are models of some colonial buildings and palaces. Also, a 10-minute film is shown every 20-30 minutes, telling about how the capital of Malaysia is seen in the future, where it will develop, what new infrastructure is planned for the coming years. The museum is housed in an old colonial building built in 1899. The building also houses a shop where you can buy paintings and souvenirs. Working hours: daily 09:00 - 18:30.
