Finally arrived at the secluded Jingmai Mountain, a free World Intangible Cultural Heritage site!

Although it has been a while since I returned from Jingmai Mountain, I still feel a strong aftereffect. Departing from Xishuangbanna, you can drive there and visit quite a few famous temples along the way, and then it takes about an hour's walk on the stone path to reach Jingmai Mountain. The villages here are distributed from top to bottom in sequence. If you want to see the sea of clouds, it is recommended to stay in a higher village and then stroll down slowly. During the off-season, it's basically acceptable to spend about 200 yuan per night. Dining here is a bit more expensive than outside, so it's suggested to be frugal and have a big meal when you return to the city. Currently, there is no admission fee for the scenic area, so the overall per capita consumption is not expensive. Take the chance before they start charging an entrance fee, and come quickly!
