Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area is located at No. 1 Binjiang Road, Xiangshan District, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. Its altitude is 200 meters, covering an area of 118,800 square meters. Originally named Lishan, it is located at the confluence of the Peach Blossom River and the Lijiang River in Guilin. Because the shape of the mountain is very similar to a giant elephant drinking from the Lijiang River, Elephant Trunk Hill got its name and is known as the symbol of Guilin's landscape. There is a moon over the water between the mountain, nose, and legs, forming the strange scene of the Elephant Hill Water Moon. The river flows through the cave, as if the moon is floating on the water. The Water Moon of Elephant Hill on the west bank and the Moon Cave on the east bank of the Lijiang River are opposite each other, one hanging in the sky and one floating on the water, forming a unique landscape of the double moon of the Lijiang River.
