Wat May or Wat Mai monastery is an important Buddhist twmple in luang Prabang, it used to be home of Phrabang image. It was built by King Anurat of Lane Xang kingdom in 1780. It situated lower hill side of Phousi mountain and right next the National museum, Sisavangvong road. Currently days, this temple is one of the Buddhism worship sites with a spectacular architecture and the mural in the main Sim which surrounding by many small monasteries and stupas.
