BRYANT FARMER

A temple of great scale

The White Horse Temple is the cradle of Buddhism in China, established in the 11th year of Yongping during the Eastern Han Dynasty (68 AD) as the first government-built monastery after the introduction of Buddhism into China. By the end of the 20th century, the governments of Thailand, India, and Myanmar had successively funded the construction of Buddhist halls at the White Horse Temple, making it the only international temple in the world with Buddhist halls in the styles of China, India, Myanmar, and Thailand. At the entrance of the temple, there is a free incense distribution spot, and inside the temple, there is a Zhiyu Tea House where you can enjoy tea for free.
