"The Chapel of Bishop's Hill", originally named "Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Penha", also known as "Chapel of Our Lady of Penha", is a Catholic church located on Bishop's Hill in Macau. It was first built in 1622 and has undergone several renovations. In 1935, it was rebuilt along with the bishop's residence to its current scale, and Bishop's Hill was henceforth known as "Monte da Guia" (Bishop's Hill). The square in front of the church features a statue of Our Lady of Penha, with her hands clasped together and a kind expression, facing the sea. The interior of the church is simple and solemn, with a towering bell tower. The surrounding area is lush with greenery and peaceful, offering a panoramic view of the south bay and inner harbor of Macau.
