Machu Picchu

South America's Machu Picchu in Peru is an Inca cultural site built on the top of a mountain, known as the "City in the Sky". In the center of the mountainous valley, there stands a city built of stacked stones, surrounded by mist as if it were a fairyland. Looking at the churches, monasteries, and buildings full of Spanish style, it always makes people sigh. Like the ancient foundations of the Inca civilization, they have become history and become a hidden side of present-day Peru. However, the geological structure of this place is unstable, and combined with factors such as human destruction, the entire city could collapse at any time due to a small earthquake.
