A trip to the Archaeological Park of Pompeii: The Next Best thing to Time Travel

Visiting Pompeii has been on my bucket list for the longest time, and finally getting to visit was absolutely amazing. Dubbed by tour guides as ‘a trip into the past,’ they’re not far off; it’s incredible how well preserved the ancient city is, from political graffiti on the walls to the stunningly intricate mosaics covering the floors. You can even see the grooves in the street where ancient carts would have been pulled along by horses! My advice to potential visitors: wear the comfiest shoes you own, bring lots of water (and suncream) if the weather looks good, and plan your route beforehand, the city is huge! #pompeiiwonders #historicallandmarks #ancienthistory
