Venice Doge's Palace

Doge's Palace in Venice Doge's Palace is an Italian word that means the palace of a governor or a prince. It is sometimes called "Doge's Palace" in English. It is a magnificent Gothic building worth seeing. I went there on a tour that included St. Mark's Basilica and a gondola. It was late February, but there were not many people and it was easy to get around. The golden staircase that appears immediately after entering is a special staircase that only a limited number of VIPs can pass through.
