Old Peter (St. Peter) is the oldest church in the inner city of Munich, Germany. As early as 1158, when Munich was built, a church was built here. The 8th century monks lived around the church on the hill. At the end of the 12th century, a new Bavarian Romanesque church was built, which was expanded to Gothic shortly before it was destroyed by fire in 1327. Since then, a new church was built in 1368. At the beginning of the 17th century, a 92-meter-high Renaissance spire and a baroque choir seat were added. Although the trip has seen too many churches of different styles, St. Peter's Cathedral is not so prominent. However, the interior of the church is also unique in the style of Narococo and Baroque style, with white and gold as the mainstay, as well as jewelry and a collection room with hair shaft. Placed in the center of the main altar is the image of San Pedro, and the four saints at the bottom are very beautiful. The whole church is very solemn and elegant. The interior is beautifully decorated, especially its altar, with many gold-plated decorations and a gorgeous feel. The church has a spire of up to 91 meters high and can be seen in many parts of Munich, becoming a landmark in Munich. It is free to enter the church and there is a charge of 2 euros for the summit. It was too cold that day, and I planned to climb the tower to overlook the panoramic view of Munich's Old Town, but at this time I gave up especially decisively. Overlooking the Marienplatz, it is the best location to look out for the new town hall and the Church of Our Lady.
