Phra Pathommachedi, the tallest stupa

Phra Pathom Chedi means the first Chedi of Suvarnabhumi.It is the tallest stupa in thailand reaching approximately 120 meters with the base circumference of 235 meters. The annual Phra Pathommachedi Festival is taken place in December for 5-9 days. You can visit here to admire the Sukhothai-style structure, which is inverted bell-shaped and largemout. Getting there by train is recommended if you are not in a rush, taking about 1hour from Salaya station. #nakhonpathom
