C-position luxury sea-view homestay in Houzhai Town, Nan'ao Island, Shuxin Yunhai (Seaside Store)

A single island, an expanse of ocean, is the dream of many. The sea of Nan'ao Island is always filled with the romanticism of literature and art, and in Houzhai Town, at the heart of the island, it's a poetic life where art and living intertwine. In front of the window of Shuxin Yunhai Homestay (Seaside Store), I watched the boats quietly moored on the sea, and couldn't help but think of the song 'Sad Pacific'. However, unlike the song, the boats here are always waiting for me. The boats here have indeed waited for me for a long time, as I pass by here like the wind each time I come to Nan'ao Island, rarely staying for a moment. But this time is different, I stayed at Shuxin Yunhai (Seaside Store), and time paused here for two days. I leisurely watched the clouds roll by and slowly savored the local culture and life of Houzhai. The newly opened Shuxin Yunhai fills the gap of high-end accommodations in Houzhai, which as the central area of the island, offers more choices for travel and leisure to visitors. The homestay is located on the prime section of Haibin Road in Houzhai Town, with the vast and enchanting sea just across the street. Although it was cloudy during my stay, sitting by the window with a pot of tea was still a poetic and picturesque experience. With 270-degree panoramic sea-view windows, a pink bathtub, starry sky ceiling, a large smart TV, a rich mini-bar, single-cluster tea bags, large bottles of drinking water, high-end bedding, toiletries, and an intelligent toilet, the amenities surpass those of some chain five-star hotels. Moreover, each room is ingeniously designed with different styles to meet the needs of various social circles. I really want to take a bath in each uniquely shaped bathtub, and even the walls of the corridors and corners are exquisitely designed. The homestay's butler service is meticulous and thoughtful, with washing machines and dryers readily available. If you want to rent an electric bike to go around the island, it's very convenient just outside the door. The homestay provides breakfast, and there are various restaurants nearby. On warm and breezy nights, there are barbecues, beer, and music on the beach across the street. Moreover, it's only a few minutes' walk to the island's 'Instagrammable street' Longbin Road, with artsy shops like CCC Coffee, Wuli Sweet Soup, and Nan'ao Island Check-in Juice Ice Company all on this street. Of course, this street also has my favorite seaweed fried rice, Awu Food Store, which now also serves delicious seafood stir-fries. Staying at Shuxin Yunhai (Seaside Store) means embracing the prosperity and romance of Nan'ao Island. I stayed here for two days, and next time, I hope it's you.
