Nanjing | Why do people love small animals so much?

🐼 During the New Year's holiday, with nothing much to do, I visited the Hongshan Zoo. It was packed with people, many of whom brought their children. I couldn't tell if it was the people watching the animals or the animals watching the people. 🐒 There are quite a few exhibition halls in the zoo. I randomly picked a few to see, but didn't finish them all. I liked the monkeys on Monkey Mountain, but felt indifferent about the others. I didn't see the zoo's top stars, the white-faced saki monkey dudu and the red panda. Most of the other animals were also sleeping. 😊 It's been so many years since my last visit that my memory is very vague. The children seemed generally happy.
