Tour Paris with a group｜See another kind of romance between light and shadow

This was my second tour to France with a group. I took a lot of pictures that I liked during the few days in Paris. It was my first time in Paris. There were many places that I had only seen in movies and textbooks before. Now they appeared right before my eyes. It was really shocking. This article does not discuss the route or comment on the itinerary, but simply shares some of the city scenery and cultural impressions of Paris. That day I stood in front of the Eiffel Tower, watching it twinkle in the night, and its lights would flash for five minutes every hour. The crowd was very quiet, everyone was taking pictures, looking at the tower, and some were sitting on the lawn chatting. Completely different from daytime. 🎨 Louvre exterior｜I was shocked by the building itself Although I didn't go into the Louvre, the building was already shocking when I saw it from the outside. The exquisite sculptures, arched windows and towering roof outlines look particularly beautiful in the blue light of the evening. I was standing opposite and took a picture. The light just fell on the wall, illuminating the lines and details of the building. Many people take pictures of the glass pyramid, but I prefer the old building, which allows me to feel the power of European classics. ⛪ Notre Dame de Paris｜Dignity and tenderness in silence The interior of Notre Dame de Paris has reopened and we had the opportunity to go in and visit this time. When I walked into the main hall, what attracted me most was the rose window. The sunlight shines in through the stained glass, hitting the stone pillars and the ground. It is very quiet and beautiful. I stood there for a long time and took a photo. Each piece of glass was like a puzzle, forming a complete story picture. There were people lighting candles nearby, including old people and young girls, and everyone was very quiet. I took a photo of a girl lighting candles, and I particularly liked the profile of her face illuminated by the candlelight when she lowered her head. These candles are arranged in circles, like some kind of ritual. They make people feel peaceful without the need for words. 🕯️ In Paris, the light belongs not only to the Eiffel Tower, but also to these candles There is a photo I took of a candlestick at close range, with neatly arranged white candles and flickering flames. In Paris, there are many places where candles are lit, not for taking photos or checking in, but to truly express some emotions. Compared to the neon lights and billboards in big cities, this "quiet light" is more memorable. 🏛️ French National Assembly | National symbols under lights This is a photo of the building I took when I was driving past it. At night, the lights shone on the front facade of the parliament, creating the tricolor effect of the French flag. There are reliefs on the pillars, making the whole building look particularly solemn. A French flag was flying above the building, and many pedestrians were standing on the bridge taking pictures. The tour guide said that this is the National Assembly of France, an important symbol of their country's politics. At that moment, I felt that the city of Paris was not only displaying its culture, but also expressing its spirit. 📷 The pictures taken during the trip are the most direct impressions This trip to Paris gave me a new understanding of the word "romance". It is not only about the street cafes, the couples on the bridge, but also the atmosphere where history and reality coexist—— For example, the Eiffel Tower at night, the ancient church window grilles, and people praying quietly under candlelight. Paris has many sides, and perhaps everyone sees and feels something different when they come here.
