The Eiffel tower was built and opened in 1889, and had an approximate height of 320 meters. Before the construction and design of the Eiffel Tower, the highest structures in the world were probably Khufu’s Pyramid and the Cathedral of Cologne with approximate heights of 150 meters, that is to say that before there was no reference that could be studied. The design for the Eiffel Tower occupied more than 53,000 sheets of paper, and a factory was founded to produce the parts, as well as the construction patterns for worksite crane assemblies, all parts were made to specifications one time and no reworking was done on any of them. The tolerances were very exacting. At the construction site, cranes and riveters were used to quickly assemble the tower, and there were no accidents during the construction process. This standard, to a certain degree even within our country, still provokes some serious shame. Also, this happened more than one hundred and thirty years ago! The best site for taking pictures of the Eiffel Tower is the Palais de Chaillot. At night, we slowly strolled to the base of the tower, feeling the romantic atmosphere of Paris. The Eiffel Tower slowly grew larger before our eyes, and slowly lit up with lights, that flash on the hour, it was extremely beautiful.
