Ocean University of China (Laoshan Campus) ๐ŸŒธ

#cherryblossom2024 **Cherry Blossom Splendor at ** ๐ŸŒธ Estimated Opening Time: Mid April ๐ŸŽซ Tickets: Free, advance reservation required When it comes to cherry blossom appreciation in Qingdao, the first place that springs to mind is undoubtedly the Ocean University of China (Haida). Ask a hundred locals, and they'll all point you in this direction without hesitation. ๐ŸŒธ Forget about the dormitory's air conditioning or the trembling hands of the cafeteria staff. Each year, the campus photos of Haida adorned with cherry blossoms become their most persuasive recruitment material. Haida boasts four campuses: Laoshan, Yushan, Fushan, and West Coast. Among them, Laoshan Campus is renowned for its cherry blossoms. ๐ŸŒธ One iconic spot on campus is "Cherry Blossom Avenue." Here, single cherry trees bloom in early April, with a fleeting flowering period lasting only about a week. On the opposite side, double cherry trees typically bloom in mid-April, extending their display until early May if the weather permits. This overlapping bloom ensures a longer "prime time" for cherry blossom viewing. But even beyond Cherry Blossom Avenue, flowers adorn every corner of the Haida campus. ๐ŸŒธ Whether you're gazing out of the library window, strolling near the vending machines, or lounging by the playground, cherry blossoms abound, creating a scene straight out of a bookish dream. For visitors like myself, it's a matter of waiting for the news or coaxing a friendly alum into guiding us through the campus to witness the cherry blossom extravaganza. ๐Ÿ“š๐ŸŒธ #Haida #CherryBlossomSeason #CampusBeauty
