Guanxiang Mountain is located in the Shinan District of Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China, with an altitude of 78.9 meters. It is one of the commanding heights of the old city area of Qingdao. In 1911, the mountain was renamed 'Guanxiang Mountain.' In 1914, when the Japanese army occupied Qingdao, it was renamed 'Cehou Mountain.' In 1923, after China took over Qingdao, the Jiao'ao Commerce Port Supervision Office officially named it Guanxiang Mountain. Since then, Guanxiang Mountain has gradually become one of the iconic scenic spots in Qingdao. The Guanxiang Mountain Park houses the Qingdao Observatory of the Purple Mountain Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as the Meteorological Station of the North Sea Fleet Command of the People's Liberation Army Navy.
