Suzdal's Tourism Boom: Rediscovering Russia's Hidden Gem ❄️🏰

While Europe becomes a rarity in travel, tourism within our own country is flourishing. In just one month, Suzdal has welcomed more tourists than in the entire 21st century! Horse-drawn sleighs now roam the streets more frequently than during the Tsarist era. The demand for candy canes and petushki (rooster-shaped lollipops) surged as early as November, and I'm sure they're melting them down to meet the demand. Meanwhile, Europe seems deserted. Those once-packed boats are now a breeze to photograph. There used to be ten people jostling for a spot, and now there's room for everyone. Share your best trip of 2021!
