🇸🇮Most Beautiful Lake in Slovenia : Lake Bled🏝
Attraction: Lake Bled
Location: Bled, Slovenia
Direction: Take a bus from Sarajevo, then take a free bus to the lake
One of the best and most beautiful attractions in Slovenia. Not far from the capital Ljubljana, Approx 1 hour bus drive will drop you there. Very suitable for one day trip. The lake is huge and water is clear, very suitable for swimming. 🏊
The most famous thing about the lake is the 17th Century church standing in the middle of the lake. The return trip by boat will be €18. 🚣
This is a truly beautiful lake and it is definitely worth your time.

Mesmerizing Lake Bled
On our way back from the city of Ljubljana, we stopped by the very picturesque Lake Bled early in the morning.
We were lucky as our group were the only ones in the popular tourist spot, allowing us to enjoy more of the beautiful natural scenery before more tourists arrive in the area.
After taking a thousand photos around the wonderful crystal clear lake, we sampled the bled cream cake and some hot chocolate (perfect for this autumn weather) from a cozy restaurant fronting the lake
—- allowing us to relax and enjoy our delicious fare while admiring such a magnificent view 😊🍂

This is the restaurant that every tourist is seeking out when traveling back to Slovenia. You'll find classic Slovenian staples here, very filling, heart-warming, good. I'd go so far as to say comfort food! Our meal here was well-deserved after climbing the stairs up and down from Bled Castle. The decor is classic gostilna style. We felt like we had a very authentic gostilna meal here. As you'll read in the menu, they make it a priority to locally source all of their ingredients. We went to Gostilna Murka and the menu offers a few different selections where you'll find "platter-style" entrees, so if you are looking to try a little bit of everything, I'd suggest these. We ourselves got the classic squid and potato, and creamy pasta, plus they gave you some sides to eat it with. We closed our big meals with a parfait-style dessert which was heavenly good!

Chances are you’ve seen the beautiful photos of Lake Bled, especially if you’ve spent much time on Instagram. It’s one of those places that is constantly popping up on ‘most beautiful places’ lists, thanks to its rich blue colour and fairytale-esque island island in the middle.

In the heart of the Slovenian mountains you will find beautiful Lake Bled. With it's little church on an island it is one of the most impressive sights in the whole country.
It is such a nice place to visit. Nature there is so unbelievable, and breathtaking. It's a stunning image I won't forget in a hurry.
Lake Bled.
I woke up on a bright morning filled with activities and enthusiasm to explore Lake Bled. The atmosphere was refreshing, and the sunlight shyly peeked through the trees, adding a magical feel to the scenery.
I wandered around the lake for a while, strolled along the shore, and took pictures of the stunning views. The trip to Lake Bled was an unforgettable experience, and I enjoyed the breathtaking beauty and tranquility of nature surrounding this charming place.
In short, Lake Bled is one of those enchanting destinations that remind you of the beautiful times spent at Lake Bled! It was truly a great experience, and I would like to return there in the future.
Postcard perfect views in Slovenia
Lake Bled is one of the most picturesque places in Slovenia. 3 travellers recommended me to visit Lake Bled so I knew I had to visit it.
I went there on a day trip from Zagreb with a Trip Advisor tour and made a friend on the trip.
The tour included a boat ride around the island and Bled Castle, which was pretty pricey. Personally, I think you don’t have to pay the entrance fees to any attractions there as the highlight of the place is really the views. Going for a swim around the island would also be ideal.

I would love to go Hong Kong next to visit Ocean Park!
90% of people in our country don't know about this small country, which is so beautiful that it makes you forget language
Europe is beautiful, with a deep historical heritage, and each small country has its own flavor. The one I can't forget is passing through Slovenia from Croatia on my way to Hungary; Slovenia is just too beautiful, completely unexpected.
I only knew about this small country during the World Cup, with a population of less than 2 million, and later it even won the European Championship. However, if you travel around the former Yugoslavia region, you'll find that people are tall and slender, which is particularly suitable for sports.
In Slovenia, people usually visit the capital Ljubljana and Lake Bled. The capital is small, but as pretty as a toy city, very exquisite. Because of the many dragon sculptures, it is also known as the 'City of Dragons', suitable for a two-day, one-night stay.
From the bus station, take a coach to Lake Bled, just over an hour, and as soon as you get off the bus, your eyes are in paradise, that kind of beauty is truly captivating, afraid to miss every detail. The combination of snow-capped mountains, the blue lake, and the castle on the hill is perfect, with the church on the island in the lake being the crowning touch of the painting. On the lake, there are various sailboats and kayaks, full of a sporty atmosphere? Vibrant. There are also many people practicing yoga by the water.
One day is actually enough to play, go up to the castle on the hilltop for photos, and walk around the lake. You can also walk to the nearby village, where the little houses in the village are so beautiful, simply an ideal paradise.
There is a chain supermarket by the lake to solve lunch, if you want to make do with something cheaper. There is an entrance fee to the island in the lake, I didn't go in, but it looks quite beautiful from the outside too.
Now, looking back at the photos, I especially miss that place.
Feel like I’m in a fairytale 💓
Lake Bled has such spectacular views to offer and a range of fun activities for adrenaline junkies (zip lining is a must!). #localguides #eurosummer
Serene Beauty of Lake Bled
Lake Bled, a gem in the heart of Slovenia, encapsulates the serene beauty and fairytale charm that Eastern Europe is celebrated for. My journey to this enchanting lake was a dive into a landscape where nature, history, and legend blend seamlessly, creating a tranquil retreat that soothes the soul. Surrounded by lush forests and the imposing Julian Alps, Lake Bled's crystal-clear waters reflect a tranquility that is both invigorating and calming.
The lake's centerpiece, Bled Island, is home to the Assumption of Mary Church, accessible by traditional wooden boats known as pletnas. The gentle ride to the island, with the oarsman navigating the placid waters, was a journey back in time, evoking a sense of peace and timelessness. The church, with its baroque tower and 99 steps leading up to its entrance, stands as a testament to the region's rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
Overlooking the lake, Bled Castle clings to a rocky precipice, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Exploring the castle's museum provided insights into the area's history, from its medieval origins to the present day. The castle's terraces, overlooking the lake and the island, offered the perfect vantage point for photographs that capture the essence of Lake Bled's beauty.
A walk around the lake's perimeter, which takes about an hour, revealed ever-changing vistas and hidden corners where the true spirit of Bled comes to life. The path, dotted with benches and small cafés, invites visitors to pause, reflect, and take in the panoramic beauty.
Lake Bled's allure extends beyond its visual beauty. The region is known for its culinary delights, including the famous Bled cream cake, a delicious treat that perfectly complements the experience of visiting this idyllic location.
Visiting Lake Bled is not just a journey to a destination but an immersion in a landscape that embodies the harmony of nature and culture. It's a place where the tranquility of the water, the grandeur of the mountains, and the depth of history converge, offering a peaceful escape and a reminder of the world's untouched beauty.

Embracing the Arctic Chill at Home ❄️
Some people love having "fresh air" at home. My mom is one of those people. Drafts in our house turn hair into a whirlwind, cool tea instantly, and make pages of books flip as if haunted. But for my mom, this is not enough; she wants the wind to toss people around the apartment, break umbrellas, and uproot potted plants in the absence of poplars.
Our windows are always wide open. We live like Arctic seagulls, with raspy voices and icy noses. I dream of storms, typhoons, and aerodynamic tube challenges. But we never have spiders, musty odors, or uninvited guests – they simply freeze at the entrance to our apartment. When I try to close a window to get warm, my mom calls me spoiled and pampered.
Do you prefer a warm and cozy home, or do you also enjoy the crisp indoor freshness?
Kitchen Chronicles: A Hilarious Client-Chef Tango 👩🍳🕺
In this amusing tale, I'll share a whimsical encounter with my 'client,' who's more like a director in the world of advertising. If our professional relationship were a marriage, it would be filled with culinary debates, from soup stirring techniques to potato slicing precision. Dive into this comical kitchen ballet, where every move is critiqued, and even the choice of pot is scrutinized. It's a story of absurdity and humor that anyone in the advertising industry can relate to, and it might just make you reconsider your dreams of being a blogger! 😄
Suzdal's Tourism Boom: Rediscovering Russia's Hidden Gem ❄️🏰
While Europe becomes a rarity in travel, tourism within our own country is flourishing. In just one month, Suzdal has welcomed more tourists than in the entire 21st century! Horse-drawn sleighs now roam the streets more frequently than during the Tsarist era. The demand for candy canes and petushki (rooster-shaped lollipops) surged as early as November, and I'm sure they're melting them down to meet the demand.
Meanwhile, Europe seems deserted. Those once-packed boats are now a breeze to photograph. There used to be ten people jostling for a spot, and now there's room for everyone. Share your best trip of 2021!
Zen time in Lake Bled
#freehotelstay Lake Bled can get busy and bustling with day-trippers, but the mornings and late evenings, everything winds down. If you’re looking for a breath of fresh air and a break from crowds, this is a perfect place to stay.
The lake is about 7k in perimeter, which makes a great run or walking route. There’s lots of shade, and only a small portion of the lake’s coast is populated with shops, leaving plenty of quiet moments.
Lake bled view point
Opposite the famous castle of lake bled is where you can find the best look out spot. Only a short 30 minute walk across the lake and you will find this spot locating you near to the island and in a perfect location for catching some great photos. This area is also full of lovely restaurants and cafes which are slightly less busy than those located on the opposite side of the lake.
Gorge walking near lake bled
LAKE BLED. 10 minute drive from lake bled! A 40minute walk along the gorge past a multitude of waterfalls. Coaches and buses also can take you out to this location from Ljubljana. Amazing views and some of the clearest water I have seen. This place was extremely peaceful when visiting in the off season during April. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
🇸🇮 Lake Bled… with a cute small island!
Lake Bled is a breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL destination located in northwestern Slovenia.
The emerald-green lake is surrounded by the Alps, creating a picturesque setting that looks like it's straight out of a fairy tale. There is a small charming island, which is so iconic and makes the lake stand out from other alpine lakes.
You can take a stroll around the lake's perimeter, rent a boat to paddle out to the island in the middle. I would suggest not to go to the island, as it is costly and there was not much to do. But driving and walking around the lake is a photographer’s dream! I visited in the winter but I’d say visiting in the summer should be better, as it would give you clearer bluer water, and you can dive into the water and have a swim! #bled
To get there, I would recommend joining a tour! They will help you organize everything!
The stunning Lake Bled, named one of the 25 most beautiful destinations in the world by CNN.
🇸🇮First, let's focus on the key point:
1️⃣The best viewpoint "Mala Osojnica", enter from "Mala Osojnica Trailhead".
2️⃣For non-driving travelers, it is recommended to stay near the "Bled Jezero" train station. For those who drive, feel free to choose your own accommodation.
3️⃣The best lighting is three hours after sunrise.
-
🇸🇮Slovenia may be one of the least popular countries in Europe.
🇸🇮But Lake Bled in Slovenia appears on various "XXX most beautiful destinations" lists all year round.
🇸🇮The beauty of Lake Bled comes from two sources: the blue lake formed by the melting snow of the Alps, and the church built on the small island in the middle of the lake by King Henry II of Germany, resulting in a perfect blend of culture and nature.
No input provided.
🚞How to get there?
1️⃣Public transportation: You can take a train to Bled, which has two train stations, Bled Jezero and Lesce-Bled. It is recommended to take the train to Bled Jezero, which is closer to the island in the middle of the lake. If you are coming from other countries, you will need to transfer trains multiple times no matter which station you arrive at.
2️⃣Driving by yourself is recommended, it only takes two to three hours to get anywhere.
No input provided.
🇸🇮How to play
🗻The scenery of Lake Bled unfolds around the island in the center of the lake.
1️⃣Take a walk around the lake, about 1-1.5 hours, and enjoy the beauty of the island in the lake from various angles.
2️⃣The best viewing points at the top of the mountain are two: "Mala Osojnica" and "Ojstrica", where you can overlook Lake Bled. It is highly recommended to go to the "Mala Osojnica" viewing platform. Enter from the "Mala Osojnica Trailhead" and do not take the other small path.‼️
3️⃣Bled Castle offers a different perspective to overlook the lake and the town of Bled, and the castle itself is also worth a visit. (Ticket price: 15 euros)
4️⃣Take a boat to the island and paddle on the lake, highly recommended.
No input provided.
🛌How to stay?
▪️There are many hotels, guesthouses, and apartments by the lake, choose according to your needs. The ones near Bled Jezero train station are closer to the island in the lake. There are more restaurants and supermarkets in Bled town, making life more convenient.
▪️If you take the train, it is recommended to stay near the Bled Jezero train station.
▪️Drive freely
▪️I took the train this time and stayed at Old Bled House, which was pretty good. It's just a bit far to walk to the island in the middle of the lake, about half an hour. Just for your reference.
No input provided.
🍖How to eat
▪️Slovenian cuisine is not much different from the cuisine of other surrounding countries, mainly consisting of sausages, pork knuckles, and stewed beef.
▪️Recommend a restaurant called Old Celler Bled, perhaps the best rated in the area. The food tastes good and the wine list is extensive, with all ingredients sourced locally in Slovenia. The Deer Goulash and Fried River Trout are both quite good, and the pork knuckle is decent but can be a bit heavy in Eastern Europe. All the wine is from Slovenia, and the waiter's recommendations are very detailed and accurate. The service is worth the price, averaging around 30-40 euros per person for fine dining.

❗️One last thing, I recommend going to Lake Bled on a good weather day (after snowfall, with clear skies and clouds), as the scenery can be disappointing on bad weather days.
Off-the-beaten-path hidden gems~
Experience the tranquility, pleasantness, beauty and charm of Lake Bled in summer. Unexpectedly, even though everything is barren in winter, it is still charming and breathtaking here.
On the steep cliffs of Bled Castle 🏰, the church in the shimmering lake, and the distant snow-capped Alps, all the barren mountains are vaguely invisible. The winter Bled Lake is even more profound and clear, and the castle 🏰 shines even more brilliantly. This is the beauty of all seasons, the beauty of winter.
Through the hardships of travel, it seems that all the fatigue dissipates in the beautiful scenery before my eyes, leaving only joy and awe for nature and all things. Winter also has its own unique beauty, and I am grateful for the changing seasons that always bring anticipation to this world.
Road trip through Slovenian Alps
The gigantic Lake Bled is perhaps the most beautiful place in Slovenia. Do a road trip with the Nissan X-Trail for example and discover the pine trees and cliffs. You can take phenomenal photos of the blue-green water surface all year round. In the background are the Julian Alps. A real eye-catcher is the island in the middle of the lake with a beautiful church. On the banks, the castle of Bled will attract attention.
In the middle of the Slovenian Alps, nature is given free rein. The impressive Lake Bohinj proves that. This green oasis is hidden between the imposing mountains and treats you to one overwhelming view after another. You discover the valley on foot, by bike or on horseback.

Europe's beautiful little fairyland - Bled Lake
finally came to the heart of Lake Ryde! Sure enough, I didnt disappoint~
but when I first arrived, I was still in the blue sky and white clouds. I was eating leisurely. After a while, the blue sky was swallowed up by the clouds. In the rainy days, Bled did not have a mood~
the next days weather On the contrary, it rained in the morning and it cleared up in the afternoon. I was fortunate enough to see the different angles of Lake Bleds cloudy, rainy and sunny days in a days shift. Its a misfortune in the unfortunate ~
time is sufficient. It is recommended to bring at least 3 days in Lake Bled~
Lake Bled l Slovenia's stunning European town, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world
came to Slovenia, naturally to the most beautiful Lake Bled, I am from Italy all the way to the east Through Slovenia, 15 countries along the way, Lake Bled is definitely a very beautiful place among the 15 countries I went to.
Scenic information: The area of Lake Bled is not large. If you just walk around the lake, you can finish it in an hour. Of course, it is natural to take beautiful photos, so There are 2 hills around the scenic spot to climb, and there is a Bled Castle to go, as well as boat and island. I can go around the lake from both sides of the lake. I didn't go to the island because I like to take pictures. My travels have always been shot outside the scene, and if I go inside the scene, I can't shoot anything.
shooting angle: It is close to getting off the lake, about 3 minutes, but there is still a little distance to the island near the center of the lake. From the station to the lake, about 30 minutes. As it looks, I walked from the left side and reached the small island near the small island. The angle of the small island is very good. There is a diagonal tree which is also suitable for the foreground composition. This place is very suitable for shooting portraits. Then continue to climb the mountain, there are 2 hills, the first turn to the left of the hill is not recommended to go up, the angle is not very good, and I almost entered the wild road.
Figure 1 is taken in another hill. This position is for everyone to punch. The angle is very good. You can shoot the whole lake. The opposite side is the snowy mountain. It is very beautiful. It is also suitable for portraits. You can stand on the rock. You can also sit on the chair in Figure 4.
Transportation: I live in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. From Ljubljana, there are many cars going to Lake Bled every day. The journey takes about 50 minutes and the round-trip ticket is less than 13 euros. The HKD is about 100 yuan. Take a ride in a house opposite the train station in Ljubljana, where you can buy a variety of tickets and you can buy a one-way ticket. There is a bus around 30-60 minutes, the traffic is particularly convenient, the most important thing is that the European bus has a toilet, I like this very much. Remind that Ljubljana must purchase a bus card when taking the bus. You can't buy a ticket with the above car. The bus card is 2 Euros, and you can recharge it at a time of 1.3 Euros.
Accommodation: I don't like to stay in hotels in Europe. They are all B&B apartments booked through the accommodation website. Because European restaurants are very expensive, and I don't like European food, I am from With Laoganma, spicy sauce and other ingredients, you can cook your own apartment, complete the pots and pans, go to the nearby supermarket and buy some chicken and chicken to cook for yourself. It is delicious and very economical. Some apartments have oil and salt, some are not, but the environment is very good.
Price: Slovenia is located in the south-central Europe, with Italy on the left and Croatia on the right. Prices are not as expensive as Western Europe, nor as cheap as in Eastern Europe. Overall, it is similar to China. It is a country with good price/performance ratio. The whole country is still very clean and people are very good.
Other: Slovenia's currency is the euro, you can use the Schengen sign to travel. On the whole, the country is very safe, because I am very worried about every country in Europe, including the quality of the people, theft, and the degree of Chinese exclusion. People who are pro-testing Slovenia are very friendly to China, and Asian tourists seem to be a little more Korean than the Chinese (by subjective judgment of the nationality of the bus I take).
Lake Bled should be one of the most famous spots in Slovenia, but the strange thing is that there are not many people coming here, probably because there are very few tourists who want to come to this country.
Blyde Lake is not big, there is a castle around. The best way to explore Lake Bled is to walk around the lake on foot. When you are around the lake, there is a best viewing angle on the mountain (must remember to go, won't let you down!) At the top of the mountain, you can overlook The whole of Bled Lake and the small island in the lake, this should be the amazing scenery that I have seen in the past six months.
Suggested play time: 4-5 hours, if you have time to stay in Bled for one night is also a good choice.
[Travel around Eastern Europe] D2&3
return to the Balkans, the first country is Slovenia. The beauty of this country began to be seen from the moment of landing at Ljubljana Airport.
After getting to the car, go straight to Bled and arrive in 30 minutes. This is a small town surrounded by the Julian Alps. The glacial snow on the snowy mountains melts into Lake Bled, and the beautiful baroque church on the central island of the lake is built with cliffs for more than a thousand years. The former castle had to sigh that the ancient people of Slovenia were too far-sighted to leave such valuable tourism resources for future generations. Snow mountains, lakes, islands, churches and castles, which are missing, will not make Bled the hottest tourist destination in Slovenia.
There is a printing workshop in the castle. The craftsman can help you customize a piece of paper with your name. After dinner, I ate stewed lamb with dumplings. It seems that people from Eastern Europe to Italy can't do without dumplings.
There is a big heart on the lake, which is specially for couples to take pictures of dog food. I am taking a photo here, who helped me draw a girl on the left?
