Qibao town - Shanghai

If you want to visit a traditional Chinese water town without leaving the city of Shanghai, Qibao is the best place to go. Qibao town is an old Chinese residential area that was built around 1000 years ago. Qibao town is close to a metro station as well as many bus stops. It is located in the center of Minhang District of Shanghai, only 18 kilometers from the downtown area. It can be busy during the weekends and holidays, that’s why I recommend to go there in the middle of the week. They have great xiaolongbao and other tasty street food.
