Hengfu Style Museum

Hengfu Style Museum is located at No. 62 Fuxing West Road. The building is a Spanish-style monastery apartment built in 1930. It was once the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Fulis, partners of the Sun Feng Foreign Firm. Mrs. Fulis often held cultural salons here, and celebrities such as Song Meiling, Zhang Xueliang, and Mei Lanfang were frequent guests. The museum displays the historical changes of the Hengfu area from a rural area in Jiangnan to the present day, as well as the profound cultural imprints left by military and political leaders and cultural celebrities through picture and text panels, old maps, and old documents. It also displays physical objects such as "Lai'an bricks," door handles, and wooden panels from old houses, recording the temperature of history. In addition, through architectural sand tables and QR code scanning, visitors can learn about the different styles of buildings in the Hengfu Style Area and the stories behind them. The museum is an important window to learn about the history and culture of Hengfu, showcasing the unique urban charm and cultural heritage of Shanghai.
