Renheguan (Jing'ansi Branch)

Renheguan (Jing'ansi Branch) is a Michelin 1-star restaurant that specializes in Shanghai local flavors. This excellent Chinese restaurant offers classic Shanghai dishes. Must-try menu items include crab meat and tofu rice, Shengjianbao (pan-fried dumplings), and Shao Rou (red-braised pork). Note that the red-braised pork tends to sell out quickly; during our visit in the afternoon, it was already gone. It's recommended to make a reservation in advance or take a queue number and explore Jing'an Temple while waiting. About 100 meters away, there's a famous bakery in Shanghai that serves delicious treats.
