There are high-speed trains and bullet trains from Chengdu to Kunming. The high-speed train costs about 500 yuan, and the driving time of different trains ranges from 5 hours and 40 minutes to 6 hours and 40 minutes; the bullet train costs about 260 yuan, and the driving time of different trains ranges from 6 hours and 50 minutes to 7 hours and 50 minutes. I chose D861, 16:39-23:29, departing from Chengdu South Station, and arriving at Kunming Station in about 7 hours. But when you arrive at Kunming Station at night, you need to take a taxi from the south square of the station. After leaving the station, you need to walk a few hundred meters to the right to take a taxi. Because it is on the side of the road, the traffic is a bit chaotic, and I don't know if it is because of the summer vacation, there are more people. In Kunming for a few days, I found that the subway is not very convenient, many attractions are not connected by subway, so either walk or take a taxi, use Didi taxi, overall feel more expensive than Chengdu. 🛏【️Hotel Strategy】 About accommodation, the first 3 days I stayed in a homestay on Nanping Pedestrian Street in the city center, about 250 per night, it is indeed very convenient, there are night markets nearby, and it is close to the old street, but the overall decoration of this homestay is a bit old; In the next few days, because the activity area moved south, I changed to a place near the train station, the room was large, and the configuration was not bad, I lived very comfortably, it was in Yihao Commercial Building, highly recommended. 🍽【Food Strategy】 In Kunming, Jiahua, Panxiangji's freshly baked flower cakes, and Yuntui moon cakes must be eaten. The child loves to eat, and we buy almost every day.
