Shorncliffe is a suburb located in the north-eastern part of Brisbane. It is approximately 30 minutes drive from the city. Here, you will find the historic pier built in the late 1800s. Shorncliffe pier, previously known as Sandgate pier, reopened in 2016 after being closed to public in 2014 for major revamp. The jetty itself gives a relaxing vibe due to its white timber flooring. I also love the calm waters. It is a perfect place unwind. There's a lot of facilities surrounding the pier, making it more popular to families.
