The castle entwined by tree roots - Ta Prohm Temple

The sturdy and majestic Ta Prohm Temple, dominated by the Kapok tree known as the 'Snake Tree' by locals, with its robust and shiny roots, bypassing beams, probing into stone cracks, winding on the eaves, and wrapping around windows and doors. Starting from an inconspicuous seed, after hundreds of years of effort, it tightly binds the millennium temple, and its trunk powerfully climbs towards the sky. Today, the lush leaves of the Kapok tree are like the arms of prayer, successfully reaching towards the sky, intertwined with the temple, creating a spectacular sight. Some scholars even believe that these trees should also be included as part of the temple's history and be protected together.
