Sheosar Lake, Pakistan

Sheosar Lake is an Alpine lake situated in the plains of Deosai National Park, in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of northern Pakistan. It is a high-altitude lake and located at a height of above 13000 feet. The lake is accessible through two routes. One is via Skardu and the other via Astore District. The road through Skardu can be covered d by jeep in few hours, however, if trekked, it can take 2 days. The second route is from Astore District. From main Astore town, it takes about 4 hours' jeep travel through a paved road to reach Chilim valley, the last residential area adjacent to the deosai plains. Roads from both sides offer scenic, mesmerizing, and memorable views of beautiful forests🏞, high mountains🏔 , and running rivers alongside the road.
