Madonna of Japan in Tacloban City

If you are around Tacloban City downtown, you can take a stroll to Madonna of Japan memorial garden. The place is located just beside Tacloban City Hall. The place from what I read is “a symbol of peace and friendship between Filipinos and Japanese people - in memory of the brave soldiers who battled during WWII”. The view in the garden is relaxing and it is also just along the seaside where you can continue the stroll - you will find some great view of the sea and some good seaside bars as well. It just needs some improvements as the statue and stone figures are not maintained as needed.
