Tengchong Ginkgo Village

Tengchong Ginkgo Village D1: I visited Tengchong Ginkgo Village in early December 2016, stayed in a farmhouse inn for two days, and left a very good impression. Therefore, I have always wanted to stay for a few more days, but for various reasons, I have not been able to do so. At this time last year, I went on a self-driving tour with a few friends, and the destination was Tengchong Ginkgo Village. When we got to Dali, we suddenly received news that Tengchong was under lockdown. We could only linger around Dali, waiting for the news of Tengchong's unblocking. We waited until early December, Tengchong finally unblocked, but the leaves of the ginkgo trees had already fallen off, and everyone had to return home. I got up at 5:30 this morning, took the early flight from Chongqing to Tengchong, arrived at Ginkgo Village at noon, and checked into the reserved inn. Compared with 7 years ago, there are more tourists in Ginkgo Village, the commercial flavor is stronger, the inn is more upscale, and the price is of course more expensive. What we lost is the rustic charm we have been longing for. After having lunch with a few friends who arrived early, we each took a rest for a while, then walked around and then returned to the yard to chat and drink tea. A comfortable day.
