Jiyuan City. Zhecheng Guandi Temple. Zhecheng Guandi Temple, originally named Guanwang Temple, is located in Dongzhecheng Village, Zhecheng Town, Jiyuan City, Henan Province, on the east bank of the Nigou River, covering an area of about 2000 square meters. It was first built in the second year of Dading in the Jin Dynasty (1162). The temple faces south with a courtyard layout. The existing ancient buildings include the mountain gate, the worship hall, the Guandi Hall, and the west side hall. Zhecheng Guandi Temple is a representative building of ancient Guan Yu worship in northwestern Henan, and it retains more of the original structure when it was established in the Jin Dynasty.
