The vermilion-painted hexagonal building has a particularly eye-catching appearance. The exterior is two stories, but the interior is three stories, which is an unusual structure. The Rokkendai refers to the Six Sages of the East, and the following six people are enshrined here: Zhuangzi, Zhuzi, Nagarjuna, Kahira Sen, Prince Shotoku, and Sugawara no Michizane.
