Klatak Beach

Klatak Beach is a beach that has a scattering of rocks on its shoreline. Uniquely, the rocks on this beach are like river rocks. At first glance, the shape is similar to river rocks. It turned out that these rocks were indeed river stones which were carried by the river towards the beach. When this river rock reaches the beach, there will be waves hitting the rock. These sea water waves will collide with other rocks, giving rise to a 'klatak-klatak' sound. So, from the sound of rocks being hit by the waves, residents call it Klatak Beach. As you know, Klatak Beach is a new tourist attraction. This beach just started to open to the public in January 2017. According to local residents, it turns out that this area used to be a fishing village. The community depends on their life as fishermen and selling sea catches. However, over time, new ideas emerged from local residents to manage this beach independently as a tourist attraction. With this idea, local residents are willing to collect funds collectively which are then used to manage this beach tourism object. Residents began to build several facilities using contribution funds, starting from access roads to the beach, parking lots, and even making various decorations to beautify the beach.
