Do you know about Doedjae Cathedral, the first Hanok church in Korea?

Doedjae Cathedral. Address: 729-1 Seungchali, Hwasan-myeon, Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do. Designated as Jeollabuk-do Monument No. 119 in 2004. Built in 1895, it is the only and first Hanok church in Korea and the second church built after Yakhyeon Cathedral in Seoul. The original church building was destroyed during the Korean War, and a new chapel building was erected in 1954, with partial restoration in 2006 to its current state. Behind the church, there are graves of missionaries Father Chos and Father Laforcade. There is a mass for pilgrims every last Saturday of the month at 11 am, so those who wish to participate are advised to check the time before visiting. The interior of the church is unique with the center blocked off.
