Huizhou-Rao Ancient Trail First Pass: Hongguan Village in Wuyuan

🌠 Hongguan Village, also known as Moming Village, is located in Zhejiang Township, north of Ziyang Town, Wuyuan, Jiangxi. Founded in the Southern Song Dynasty, it was a nationally renowned production site for Hui ink during the Ming and Qing dynasties, and many ink masters' residences are well preserved to this day. 🌅 The village was established by the Zhan family, nestled against green mountains and facing a clear stream, and is known as 'the unparalleled key to the Wu and Chu regions, and the first pass on the ancient Huizhou-Rao trail.' The village has 8 Ming Dynasty buildings and more than 60 Qing Dynasty buildings, with the most famous being the thousand-year-old camphor tree at the entrance of the village.
