The ancient bridge at the foot of Qi Yun Mountain seems to have stepped into a painting

There is a Hengjiang River at the foot of Qi Yun Mountain, which is the tributary of Qiantang River, Fuchun River and Xin'an River. On the Hengjiang River, there is a nearly 500-year-old ancient bridge - Dengfeng Bridge, which was just rated as a national key cultural relics protection unit a few years ago. If you come to Qi Yun Mountain and don't take a look at this fairy bridge that can only be seen in ancient paintings, you will definitely regret it when you go back! As the starting point of the ancient climbing path of Qi Yun Mountain, Dengfeng Bridge played a significant role in ancient times. Now, the mountain range of Qi Yun Mountain, Hengjiang River and the surrounding Hui-style architecture form a landscape of green water, green mountains, white walls, grey tiles and the fairy mist that comes with it, as if the bridge is placed in an ink painting. Whether tourists are slowly sailing towards the bridge hole on a bamboo raft, walking along the banks of Hengjiang River, or walking on Dengfeng Bridge, they will feel like they have stepped into a painting, which is amazing. Dengfeng Bridge was built in the 15th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1587 AD), made of hemp stone, with a structure of 10 piers and 9 hole arch bridge. The bridge piers are boat-shaped (Figure 8), 162.9 meters long, 7.2 meters wide, and 12 meters high at the highest point. The whole bridge has the momentum of 'crossing the river like a rainbow, lying on the wave like a dragon'. The water-dividing tip is built at the place where the bridge meets the water. The body of the bridge is built of strip-shaped hemp stone, the bridge surface is paved with red sand strip stone, railings are built on both sides, steps are set up for the bridge in the north and south, and a stone archway is erected at the north end of the bridge. Dengfeng Bridge was built by the ancient Zhi Xian, the prefect of Huizhou. When the stone bridge was completed, it happened that the ancient Zhi Xian was promoted to the inspector of Guangdong by the imperial edict. In order to praise the ancient Zhi Xian's virtue of building bridges, the locals named it 'Dengfeng Bridge', implying 'step by step, step by step', so there is a saying in the local area: 'Walk on Dengfeng Bridge, prolong life by 99.' 📝Dengfeng Bridge tour mode: 1⃣️Take the Hengjiang Mountain and Water Bamboo Raft in the scenic area, you can pass through the bridge hole (Figure 15), the experience is very great. 2⃣️Walk along the Hengjiang River on both sides, you can take a perspective of the side of Dengfeng Bridge (Figure 4) 3⃣️Get on Dengfeng Bridge, get close to this 500-year-old ancient bridge, the bridge surface composition in Figure 17 has a sense of history and can also contrast with the white walls, grey tiles and green mountains. 4⃣️Another hidden point is to climb up Qi Yun Mountain, you can overlook Dengfeng Bridge and the surrounding scenery. 🚗Transportation: Take the high-speed rail to Huangshan North Station, and there is Xuning 1 Road directly to Qi Yun Mountain. Walk for about 5 minutes to Dengfeng Bridge.
