Church of St. Astvatsatsin

One of my favorite churches in Armenia ♥️ it is located in Nork district in Yerevan, Armenia. As it is located not far from my family house 🏡 I’ve been here countless times since I was a child 👦 It is a relatively small but very beautiful church. ⛪️ It was destroyed by an earthquake in 1679 and then was rebuilt at the beginning of 20th sanctuary. Then it was in a very bad state as many other churches during the Soviet era. 😔 After Armenia became independent in 1991 🇦🇲 residents started reconstruction of the church ⛪️ it was opened in 1995 to the public once again.
