Zaanse Schans Countryside and Windmills

#wheretogo Zaanse Schans is a historic village that today still retains several working windmills among the traditional houses. It is like an open air museum which shows a typical Dutch town. Once inside the mill you realize how big they are and see all the gears, wheels, blades. An incredible experience, surrounded by nature and animals. There is also a visitor center, a cheese factory, a clog factory, a museum and many souvenir shops. It is certainly a visit worth it and I recommend it to everyone. A magical place for all visitors.
