Zhangjiajie - Avatar Mountains.

Getting There - We took a flight from Beijing direct to Zhangjiajie. From there, our hotel organised a driver to pick us up (6 of us), which cost around 200rmb. Attractions - Zhangjiajie national park! Hotels - we stayed at Zhangjiajie Super Mountain hotel. It had a pool and gorgeous views of the mountains. It was a 10 minute walk (absolute maximum) from the park entrance. It also served great Chinese food, had a pool table and the staff were very accommodating. There wasn’t much else around the hotel in terms of restaurants, just a couple of shops selling necessities. If you’d prefer to be closer to the action, the Pullman and Crowne Plaza were a stones throw away from a different entrance which also had lots of more of restaurants and shops. Food & Restaurants - McDonalds within the park, and a KFC / Starbucks on the outside of the park but within walking distance of the entrances.
