Day 5 Zhenyuan Ancient Town | Falling in love with a slow lifestyle in the ancient town

As soon as I stepped into this 5A-rated ancient town, I immediately fell in love with it, making it my favorite spot of this Guizhou trip without a doubt. The last time I encountered an ancient town I loved this much was Heshun Ancient Town in Yunnan, but Zhenyuan boasts a richer historical culture and more ancient architectural complexes! The S-shaped Wuyang River meanders through the town, which is nestled against the mountains and by the water, overlooking the town reveals a shape of the Bagua diagram. I got up at 6:30 am to climb Shiping Mountain, becoming the first person to enter the scenic area and reach the summit today. Overlooking the entire Zhenyuan Ancient Town, the wind was strong and my heart felt broad and open! During the day, there are very few people in the ancient town, it's quiet and peaceful. The town is extremely inclusive, serving as a place for activities of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and more. Walking through Sifangjing Alley and Renshou Alley towards the middle of the mountain, there are even fewer people, some quaint taverns, coffee shops, small restaurants, and centuries-old residential houses. Of course, there's also the century-old tofu pudding shop. At night, the ancient town becomes extremely lively, with restaurants and bars along the river all packed with people, a complete contrast to the ancient town's daytime temperament, filled with the bustle of life! 🌟For scenic spot introductions and food recommendations, see pictures 2⃣️3⃣️ I hope everyone can forget their worries in Zhenyuan Ancient Town~ I really wish I had the time to stay a couple more days, to find a secluded coffee shop halfway up the mountain and sit for an afternoon, how comfortable that would be.
