Zhuhai Ocean Spring Resort · Sail Hotel Review

This time, the Sail Hotel at Ocean Spring Resort was quite a pleasant surprise. 🏰 Room Type: We stayed in a tatami room this time. The room was spacious and even had a balcony (National Day price: 1800+). The amenities were fairly standard. However, the bathroom faced directly towards the entrance and was made of transparent glass, which was quite inconvenient. The entire area was separated by glass without any buffer zones, so families with kids need to be cautious. Closing the doors could easily result in a loud "bang," and it’s easy to accidentally pinch fingers. (The room price included tickets for two adults, so we had to buy an extra ticket for our eldest child. Our younger child didn’t need one as she didn’t meet the height requirement. Children’s tickets were 300 each, and adult tickets were even more expensive.) 🙇 Service: There was a one-on-one butler service, and you could communicate via WeChat. The service was quite good, and the staff were friendly. Since it was Mid-Autumn Festival, they even gave us mooncakes, which the kids said were delicious. 👼 Kid-Friendly Features: They provided adorable bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries for children. 🎢 Entertainment: 1. Hot Springs (Honestly, I have to complain about this. Can they renovate it? The changing rooms and hot spring pools were old and felt dirty. There was a water slide and a movie screening area, though.) 2. Dwarf Kingdom: You can see animals (pigs, chickens, rabbits, peacocks, horses), but the smell was overwhelming. Most activities required additional fees, like feeding animals or collecting coins to exchange for gifts. Just looking around was free. The area wasn’t very big, and you could finish walking through it quickly. It gets very sunny and hot in warm weather! 3. Mystery Island: This is for rides, but most require a height of 1.3 meters or above. I didn’t go in, but my husband and eldest son did. The kids said it was a bit boring (probably because they didn’t meet the height requirement 😆). 4. Food Street: A total disaster zone!!! 5. Fireworks: There were small stalls for games and crafts, but not many. It was quite basic. 6. Inside the Sail Hotel, there was an indoor children’s playground with beautiful colors, suitable for younger kids. Overall, it’s a pleasant surprise for a resort hotel, but there’s still room for improvement!
