The temple is located in the heart of the Langzhong Ancient city. This temple was dedicated to worship Confucious. To get to the city gate you can take a taxi, but to enter the city and reach to the temple you’ll need about 7 minutes to walk. 🚶🏼‍♂️ The temple was built in Tang dynasty, and after the reconstruction, was open for visitors. Tickets’ cost is about 40 yuan each 🎟 It would be better if you buy the package of tickets for the Ancient city, can visit several sightseeings only for 110 yuan!!! Aoshan Holly Mountain is located in the ancient part of Langzhong, a historical and traditional city of Sichuan province. ⛰The place is quite beautiful and mystique, full of Chinese traditional temples and statues. 🎟 The tickets cost 50 yaun each but we had a guide who showed us around and told the story of this place. This scenic are isn’t usually crowded, what gives you opportunity to take good pictures of the place, even though you are not allowed to take pictures at the areas of temples and inside of those. 📸 From the top of a tower is opening a marvelous panoramic view of Jialing river and the whole ancient city 🏙 The guide adviced us to pray in the temple and then we were fooled by listening to the fortune teller and paid additional 100 yuan (we chose the lowest price) to the temple. 🔮 Excluding this experience, I liked the whole area! In ancient times, this place was called Baoning, now it is Langzhong, and it is also the birthplace of the Chinese Spring Festival! It has a history of more than 2,300 years. Highlights: The ancient city has a Tang and Song layout and Ming and Qing architecture. Friends who like to study feng shui must come and see this. Must-see: Hanhou Temple (Zhang Fei Temple), Confucius Temple, Sichuan Gongyuan, Chuanbei Daoshu, Zhongtian Tower, Feng Shui Museum, Huaguang Tower, Baoning Vinegar Museum. On the first day, take a stroll around the ancient city, take a night tour of the Jialing River, and soak your feet in vinegar in the ancient city. On the second day, climb the mountain to see the panoramic view of the ancient city. There are two white pagodas and Jinping Mountain (you can choose one of the two, both can see the panoramic view, the view is slightly different). I climbed both and recommend going to Jinping Mountain, where there is a Star Gazing Tower, the birthplace of Spring Festival culture, and the Duguang Temple. I also went to Nanjinguan Ancient Town before going to the station. Must-eat: Zhang Fei beef, Baoning vinegar, white sugar steamed buns, try the local beef noodles that are completely different from ordinary beef noodles. There is a place near Zhongtian Tower that sells potstickers and dumplings, and the porridge is particularly delicious. The potstickers are a bit greasy, but it is an old brand. I came from Xi'an, went to Guangyuan first, and then came here, for a total of three days and two nights.
