🇲🇾Kuala Lumpur Nostalgic Art Exhibition-Free Ticket
#JanuaryGoodPlaces2025
As a foreigner, when I go to Kuala Lumpur, I basically go to famous attractions such as Batu Caves, Pink Mosque, Merdeka Square, etc. I rarely have the opportunity to learn about local art exhibitions.
This time I took advantage of the time to visit ILHAM's nostalgic art exhibition, which is located on the fifth floor of the ILHAM building. After arriving on the fifth floor, the thoughtful staff will tell you the precautions for visiting the exhibition, such as not bringing water in, prohibiting the use of flash, etc. There are lockers outside for water.
The exhibition includes theatrical art from the 1990s, as well as many interactive installations. It is an exhibition suitable for visiting alone, on a date, or with friends. It is close to KLCC, about a 10-minute walk away, making it a great place for people who are tired of visiting Kuala Lumpur and want to learn more about local art.
Don’t miss the gift shop after the exhibition! There are all kinds of literary and artistic items and souvenirs inside, and there are more than 50 kinds of postcards! Suitable for buying a postcard to send to a friend or yourself!
