Shenzhen Tianhe Hotel is located 15 min away from Bao An airport. So it’s very convenient location. Their breakfast starts at 6:30, much earlier than other hotels nearby. I didn’t skip breakfast thanks to their breakfast schedule before early flight. The Hotel also provides drop off service. Some tourist spots are very crowded so visiting with small kids may nit be a good idea. Have been to Chengdu in 2007 there was no underground subway nor high speed trains crossing different cities and provinces in China. Underground metro network has been grown more complicated than Hong Kong! And the network is still expanding. You can travel to any tourist attraction spot by metro train. Always amazed by the rapid growth in China. Baidu Map app essential tool when traveling so won't get lost like the old days before smart phones invented. The new route from Shenzhen Airport to Hong Kong have been opened. By ferry, it operates three times a day and the ticket can be purchased online. It take around 70 minutes to Tsim Sha Tsui of Hong Kong. The ferry is large but luckily there weren’t many passengers on the day. There are two decks: upper one for first class, and lower one for economy. There are just a small price difference between them. You could sit wherever you like and the whole cabin is air-conditioned. Getting There - At exit 16 of the airport, take a bus directly to the ferry terminal.
