Palace is very well maintain and beautiful. From the highest point, you are able to look out to the ocean. Nice walk to see the palace. The scenery is taken from the highest point in the palace. Worth the visit if you are passing by the area. Many instagram worthy photo spots too!!
It was windy but sunny when we visited. Not crowded with tourist.

Ujung Water Palace or Taman Ujung ( Edge Sukasada Park ) was built in 1919. In the area , there are some buildings also large and spacious pool. There are three or entrance gate to the park area. The main gate is at a height on the west side as an entrance that is called "Bale Ship" because the build was once made to resemble a ship. Furthermore, this bale of our entrance into the park area with hundreds of fruits down the stairs. From this spot the entire area of the park can be enjoyed. 100 years old palace in Bali!
Built before WW II, my mother say this place heavily damage during mount agung eruption 60's and bali's biggest earthquake 76..rebuilt in 2000's without change the original looks of palace.
This place a little bit far away from Denpasar city, it takes approximately 2 hours..ticket price is less than 2 USD for locals.
Spacious inside, well shaped Dutch style architecture, nice enough to take a look around and have a picnic al fresco, you can bring food & drink inside because no restaurants inside (you can only find local warung in parking lot)
The best place for picture is upstairs approx 100 stairs (but sorry no picture this time i can't bring my kids upstairs), note ; they charge more for prewedding or DSLR camera...

Taman Ujung Karangasem. This is like a huge park with a beautiful pond and palace in the center. There is also an area at the top of a very high stairway which we passed on. They charge 50,000 idr for admission. A touch high in my opinion. The palace is beautiful but no longer furnished. It's main attraction is that it is not as crowded as Tirta Ganga. Worth a stop if you're touring around.
The history of it and the views close to the see is awesome!!! Very well conserved and lots of nature around it. The drive from Denpasar is about 2 hours through the highway, but totally worth it. It has a small museum inside with the history of the monarchy in the island.

Agnes @ Taman Ujung Ujung Water Palace
This is a trip arranged on the same day as the Tirta Gangga Water Palace, the two attractions are not far apart, but they are both a bit far from the center of Ubud, so you still need to charter a car to get there. However, I think both attractions are very worthwhile, and there's no feeling of falling into a tourist trap.
The day I went there was heavy rain, and even wearing a raincoat was barely enough, so there were very few tourists, which gave the feeling of having the whole place to ourselves. The area is very large, and as soon as you enter, you can see the first palace at a glance. The pathways are all white, which should look very nice in photos if the weather is good, but looking out from the windows after the rain, there's a different kind of fresh feeling. Walking around and taking pictures, you'll soon reach the foot of a ruined palace in the sky. From a distance, you can see a long staircase leading to this palace, which takes some time to climb, but it's not very high or tiring. From the top, you can overlook the entire area, which is quite nice. We also met many local little girls on the stairs, their clear eyes were very touching. After coming down and walking to the right, you can see the third palace, this time the pathway is bronze-colored, and at the end is a large, transparent platform, which might have been a place for meetings or discussions in the past.
This is a very leisurely and uniquely beautiful area, especially enjoyable when it's less crowded. The rain drizzles onto the lake surface, surrounded by greenery, it's just too enjoyable.

The invisible small scene on the ins "Water Palace"
/Ujun Taman
Bali is really a fairy place that is too suitable for vacations,
and the Uganda Water Palace in eastern Bali is probably the smallest secret in Bali,
The wreckage is broken, but it is beautiful and memorable.
.
This was once the summer residence of the emperor. Later, it was caused by the earthquake caused by the eruption of Agung volcano. So most of the buildings in the water palace were damaged. Now it looks like a big quiet park. The garden is full of green grass, and the style of the garden retains the traditional Balinese garden style and introduces the style of Western architecture.
.
Compared to the Sky Gate and Bali Swing, there are absolutely no hordes of tourists here, so you can unscrupulously spread and daze.
and climbed over 100 steps to reach the legendary secret heights. It is the wreck of a pavilion. Because of the high terrain, you can see the water palace and the vast Indian Ocean in a distant view. Like a green castle in the ocean.
.
However, in order to protect the local architecture, the Water Palace is not allowed to shoot wedding dresses or commercials, nor to fly the drones~
plus tickets are not very cheap, almost one People want to be close to 50 RMB, so there are fewer tourists here.
Sunny..
Bali Man Shaomei Photographing Taman Ujung Taman Ujung Water Palace
Taman Ujung was originally a place for kings to vacation and receive friends or VIPs. For Hinduism, water is one of the most important elements to help them purify and pray. It is also the source of human birth. So it is called the Water Palace, and it combines a lot of water features such as oceans and lakes between natural landscapes. . It is completely different from the grandeur of the Chinese palace. The Wusong Water Palace is a smart and gentle temperament route.
It is worth mentioning that the designers behind this building actually come from our China, so we will see the shadow of our hometown in the details. When we came, there was a melodious Chinese traditional music in the water palace. The sound of the flute, don't have a style.
After the natural disasters and the baptism of the years, some corners of Taman Ujung have appeared to be ruined, but the faint vicissitudes have made her more charming.
Location: This garden palace, which is close to the sea, is located in Karangasem in eastern Bali, driving nearly two hours from Ubud. Because it is a little remote, it is not a sneak peek or a tour group. Not far from the sky gate.
Tickets: RMB 20 per person per person.

Located in the easternmost part of Bali, this palace is quiet, simple and atmospheric... The design of the Water Palace uniquely integrates the beautiful botanical landscape with the abundant water features of the ocean and lake, making the entire palace atmosphere Magnificent yet agile temperament~
It is not as famous as the Tanah Lot Temple and the Holy Spring Temple in Bali. There are no groups of tourists here, but you can completely slow down the rhythm and enjoy this hidden in the jungle. The royal palace.
The Wushui Palace has a long water promenade~ the white walls of the palace are surrounded by red roofs. The view of the garden is quiet and beautiful~
The water palace has a very long step~ climb to the top and overlook The ruins of the palace ~ the hot sun, it is not easy to climb up~ I have been doing psychological struggle for a long time, and finally I want to come, or climb it~~
