I had a fantastic stay at Bus Hostel Reykjavik! The atmosphere was welcoming, but what truly stood out was the incredible staff. They were consistently friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make my trip easy. A huge highlight was their flexibility with my travel schedule. Even though I checked out at 10:00 AM, they graciously allowed me to hang out in the common areas until my 6:30 PM flight. This made my final day in Iceland stress-free and much more comfortable. Highly recommended for any traveler looking for great service and a hospitable vibe!

Conveniently located at the entrance to Reykjavik. Second-floor room with no elevator. The room was spacious and had a bathtub, making this the only place we stayed after seven nights in Iceland. Even luxury hotels didn't have bathtubs. My husband was delighted with his first bath after driving about 2,000 kilometers. The bathroom and washroom had poor drainage, so water overflowed from somewhere and flooded the entire place. The room wasn't particularly clean, but it's a good option as a hotel to stay before entering (or leaving) Reykjavik. There are restaurants nearby, like KFC and Sabue. There was no hair dryer in the room, but I think you could borrow one from the front desk if you needed one. We realized this in the morning and had to go down to the front desk to borrow one. Breakfast was minimal. No hot meals. Also, the serving area was small and crowded. Nothing particularly noteworthy, but overall it was an average hotel. By average, I don't mean badly; it wasn't the best, but it was passable. I hope this review is helpful.

This stay was, to put it mildly, a bug-infested lesson. I stayed for 4 nights. The first two nights were fine, but on the third night, things went south – I started getting bitten by bugs in the room, resulting in red spots all over my body. This wasn't just me being sensitive; these were clearly visible bites that required photographic evidence (which I did take, of both the spots and the bugs). What's even more outrageous is that this wasn't an isolated incident. I later found out that previous guests had reported similar issues, indicating that the hotel has a long-standing problem with hygiene and pest control, rather than a one-off accident. After the incident, the hotel's solution was to arrange a room change. The problem is, what had to happen already happened. The room change felt more like going through the motions than actually solving the issue. Due to hygiene concerns, I personally disposed of some of my clothes and shoes, essentially paying extra for this stay. To summarize: * The room has a pest problem. * Hygiene management is questionable (and seemingly a long-term issue). * The response was delayed and inadequate. * The guest had to bear the additional costs themselves. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, you might gamble on it; but if you don't want to use your body as a test subject, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

This is a small hotel located outside the capital of Iceland. The only advantage is that there is a cheap pig supermarket next to the hotel. It is convenient for shopping and the room is small. It is not recommended. The sheets are not changed. Reykjavik should live in the city center, dining is convenient, Vietnam 🇻🇳 restaurants are many.

Apartment-type rooms have kitchen equipment The room type is large compared to other hotels. There are restaurants and supermarkets around. It is very convenient to take the airport bus and the Blue Lake bus. The city is concentrated in such a place. Trip.com booked a standard suite can live three people. When booking, two and three people have the same room rate, so it is convenient to fill two people. As a result, I went to the hotel and was charged 60 euros. I thought that if I fill one person, I would have to pay 120 euros more? Everyone can pay attention to this, communicate in advance to avoid unnecessary losses. More suitable for travelers who need to cook, if the oyster is not recommended for a short stay, staying at an ordinary hotel is more cost-effective.

Chose Cabin for our last night in Iceland, primarily because of the shuttle bus to the airport, but I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The front desk staff made check-in a breeze, and they even used a translation app on their phone if there were any English communication difficulties. Although the room was small, it was very cozy. The location is also fantastic, right by the sea, just 100 meters away. It's only a 10-15 minute walk to popular areas like the church and Rainbow Street. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets conveniently located nearby. Thumbs up! 👍

Except that the door could not be opened at first, after contacting the landlord, the landlord opened the door for us in the background and then updated the correct password. The room is relatively short and does not have a direct view of the sea, but other than that it is very good. The facilities are complete and easy to use. The multi-function oven and refrigerator are very convenient.

Super friendly staff, best location in town. Only negative thing I can say is, despite our rooms not being booked by anyone else prior and being ready for us, the hotel wanted to charge by the hour for early check in. If you have luggage with you, they'll also charge you to store that too if you are early to 2pm check in. As our flight arrived at 6AM it meant we had to haul our luggage around or pay the price which was inconvenient. Otherwise great spot, would return!

This apartment-style hotel is really great. Remember to book in advance, you can save a lot! You can cook here, and all the kitchenware and laundry facilities are available. There's a microwave, perfect for heating up some instant meals! There are two beds, and the bathroom is also very spacious. Check-in is conveniently located right across from the apartment building. You can ask the front desk for some disposable toothbrushes, which is a nice touch. They also store luggage for free. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!!
