Hotels With Parking in Zanzibar North Region, Tanzania

I read reviews about this hotel and was very hesitant. I decided to book at my own risk and was very surprised. Anyone who writes nasty things about the hotel simply doesn't understand the difference between a Turkish 4 and a Zanzibar hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at Kendwa Rocks Hotel. The beach, the view, and the sunset were absolutely beautiful. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. It’s the perfect place to relax and have a good time. If I come back to Zanzibar, I’d definitely stay here again.”

Great hotel, but some niggles. Has safe parking, central location, nice staff, big rooms. In our first block power off virtually every night 6-9.00 pm, Did get moved and was a huge improvement. Breakfast could be a little more interesting On the whole well worth a visit 😎

My stay at Nungwi Dreams by Mantis was absolutely magical. Waking up to the ocean in view and catching the sunrise daily was golden – a truly breathtaking way to start each day. The food was top-notch, with every dish prepared to perfection, and the night entertainment was amazing, adding a lively yet elegant touch to the evenings. The rooftop bar, with its stunning panoramic views of the ocean, was an absolute highlight – a sight to behold and the perfect place to unwind. Nungwi Dreams by Mantis is a serene oasis away from the busyness of Nungwi, offering both relaxation and unforgettable experiences. I can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise!

Nice hotel, but receptionists refuse my request to check in early and i was seriously sick that day they keep me in lobby almost 3hrs no one care  My friend was reminded them about my condition but no any action from front desk

It’s so nice place! The owner Polish woman so polite and friendly ! All our questions was solved ! All 10/10 ! The territory clean and fresh! The rooms also fresh and designed very well! Food in Restaurant so delicious ! The beach not the best all day ,sometimes water level low because of tide.So u can not go swimming.this difficult but they have nice pool! So think what important for you if best beach you can choose Nungwi , if atmosphere at all - this hotel the best!

This is the third Riu hotel in the area, and having stayed at the previous two, I found this one, which opened in '26, to be a step down overall. The smell of concrete was very strong. They claim to have seven à la carte restaurants (non-buffet), but not all of them were open; in fact, only one was open each day. This wasn't mentioned on their website or on Ctrip. We were only informed at check-in that reservations could only be made for the following day. This means if you're only staying one night, you're stuck with the buffet for all three meals and can't experience any of the all-inclusive à la carte restaurants, despite paying the same per-night rate as those staying longer, which feels very unfair. The large, modern building feels too artificial; I'd rather stay in a more traditional hotel on the island.

One of the best places to stay in zanzibar. Beautiful resort and amazing hospitality.

My friend and I came for 3 days and 2 nights and it was great! We arrived around 9am which was way before the check in time and they accommodated us so well and gave of coffee and fruit while they set up our room early! The room was way better than what we ever expected. The AC was the first we’ve had in our whole month stay in Tanzania! The room was spacious, had patio seating private to the room, a great bathroom, and very nice decor! Breakfast was good and the staff was extremely kind and accommodating to any needs. The location is great and a 5 minute walk to the beach and a great restaurant called Maisha that we ate at almost every night. The area felt very safe too! Even at the end of our trip our flight was at 10pm and they let us leave our bags at the hotel while we spent our day at the beach, and even let us come back to change and wait until our taxi came! Overall a great stay for a great price, we were so glad to have gotten the chance to stay here!

Although the Kasha Hotel is not big overall, there are some, the rooms and infinity pools are very good, the hotel butler is very good, and the price is only 1700 for one night. Sangdao and Seychelles are really cheaper than it is.
