I spent four consecutive days in Lisbon. While the location might seem a bit out of the way, the nearby metro station made transportation incredibly convenient. Lisbon itself is absolutely stunning. I was genuinely surprised by how beautiful its vintage, golden trams are. Bathed in such vibrant, almost painterly colors, the city instantly felt so much more elegant and grand.
Located right in the heart of the city, the Masa Hotel in Portugal was an excellent experience.
I chose the Masa Hotel for my trip to Lisbon and it completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel is perfectly located, just a few minutes' walk from the metro station, making it convenient for visiting attractions and navigating the airport. There are also many wonderful cafes and restaurants nearby.
The spacious and clean rooms, with modern amenities and a reliable free Wi-Fi connection, made my stay incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was a real surprise, with its diverse selection and delicious local cookies.
The 24-hour front desk staff was incredibly helpful and patient, whether providing directions or answering questions. The hotel also offers a swimming pool, fitness center, and other amenities to meet your every need. The overall experience was excellent, no wonder it's so popular. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Lisbon!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Location wise it is great! It’s situated in a very convenient location with buses and metro just a few minutes walk. The room is clean and quiet as well. We have nothing to complain about, highly recommend!
The hotel building looks old but it's much better inside. I appreciate the family room which makes my life much easier when travelling with kids. The buffet breakfast was good too. We were starving when we arrived at the hotel, so we rushed into the hotel restaurant for lunch set (EUROS 19 with main course, salad bar and tea/coffee) , rather nice. Overall, value for money hotel, will come back.
The room was modern and clean. The location was very convenient, with a supermarket right downstairs and a large shopping mall nearby. The only minor drawback was that the towels were a bit stained. However, the front desk staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

I love the location of the hotel, it is very central to the tourist attractions and also a lot of nice restaurants around the corner, make it very easy for tourist without transport.
The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. My room provide breakfast, while the spread is just good as it’s a boutique hotel which is fine for me.
The room is as shown in the picture, nice, clean, smells good just the lighting a bit dimmed which I guess is normal for European hotel. The room is very good for me just that the hotel don’t provide complimentary bottled water which it should be a basic service by all hotels. Otherwise, everything is good.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Lisbon! The service was excellent—staff were friendly and always ready to help. The amenities were top-notch and very clean, making our stay super comfortable. The location was also convenient for exploring the city. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting with friends!
The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very clean and comfortable. The bed is perhaps a little ”soft” but because I prefer the rigidest facilities. Breakfast varies and abundant, with the products that were integrated once finished, served in a very beautiful space. Interior parking, given the type of land and the number of tourists, was very important. It is about 10' walk from the centre or station
It was my second stay at Star Inn and again it was great. The location is just in front of the airport so it is great for a night stay on a long layover. The room is small but clean, perfect for one night. Although, it was a bit cold so I had to turn on the heating (in the end of august 😅). Shower was good and a single bed comfortable and clean. The best is the breakfast that is served all night long so even for a very early flight you can have a nice and fresh breakfast. They are also serving buffet dinner for a super reasonable price. All in all, I will definitely stay there again due to my often layovers in Lisbon.

WWariyukiI won’t recommend this apartment though it is only less than 10 mins walk from the Martim Moniz metro station and the city centre.
The apartment is located at the back alley of some old buildings. There were a lot of homeless people and wanderers at both ends of the alleys. The most unacceptable thing was that the alley was stinky with the very bad smell of urine and garbage. Since the apartment is inside the alley that car cannot go inside, even we took Uber, we still need to walk 2-min from either end of the alley to the apartment.
Unfortunately we were assigned with a room on the ground level of the 4-storey apartment. To be exact, the room was slightly below ground level, meaning that we could see the feet of the people walking on the street through the 2 windows of our room. It was also a bit noisy when people talked on the street, parked their bicycle right at the windows of our room. Obviously we couldn’t open our windows or curtains, meaning that it was like staying in a room without windows. We have asked for a change of room. Since we were staying there for 7 nights, we also didn’t mind to change for only a few nights in the middle of the stay, however we were not provided with any option to change our room even though we booked this apartment 4 MONTHS ago (not the last minute customers).
Besides, the sound proofing of the apartment was bad. We could hear everyone talking outside. Since it’s the ground floor unit, there were more people passing by and going up to different floors and in and out the building, all sounds were quite annoying especially during the late night. Among the 7 nights, there were also 2 nights having some sorts of alarm in the mid nights for over 30 minutes. All these issues were very disturbing too.
Adding to it, the bed and pillows of the apartment were too hard and not comfortable to us. We didn’t have any good sleep unfortunately.
Nevertheless the interior of the apartment was fine, spacious and clean. Decoration was modern, daily house-keeping was also fine. There were aircon, washer and dryer, a basic coffee filter machines but not Nespresso coffee machine.
SSilcreThe facilities and location were great.
The downside was the construction work that kept us awake. It was two in the morning, and they were working with grinders, tools, and other heavy impacts.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is not located in the city, but there is a subway station that takes ten minutes' walk to the old city. It is also very convenient because there is no taxi in the city to go to the airport. The breakfast in the hotel is very good, the variety is rich and the quality is good, and the service is particularly good. SANA is a local hotel chain in Portugal, and its quality and service are quite guaranteed. The hotel is located on the flight network where planes land and take off, but the soundproofing in the room is good, which is perfect if you want to watch and take pictures of planes.
SSantosThe room was super clean, the location is near a public transportation which I'd good ans bad at the same time due to noise, the stuffs are friendly and helpful.
Therr only negatives are:
There is a TV and AC, but in order to use it you must demand the remotes.
As well as the fact that we either give them a credit card or 50 euros as a warranty instead of a ID, which we found it not so common and were doubting it, ans of course we gave cash.

SSefy LevyThis hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary)
The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall.
We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos)
We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond.
Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.
GGuest UserI spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts:
PROS:
- Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport.
- Nice decors and overall pretty clean.
CONS:
- The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room.
- Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer.

EEstherOverall great stay. It was a comfortable experience in a spacious room compared to a typical hotel room. Only downside is that it is bit further away from the city center so bit additional travel was required, but for the price and comfort I did not mind it. Only thing I wish they had was washer/dryer.
GGuest Userdidn't like:
1) bathroom sharing was not clearly stated in the listing , nor the reservation.
2) the gents bathroom was too small
3) the ceiling above washbasin in gents bathroom was too low.
4) room door did not close and thus had to be locked every time
