The hotel's view was truly spectacular, but I was genuinely bewildered by the quality of the facilities here. The basic amenities fell far short of what you'd expect from a four-star hotel back home. The bathroom, in particular, was incredibly basic. Our deluxe king room only came with two small, thin blankets and no proper duvet, and we had to make do with these for four days. We were on our honeymoon... The bed was made of two single beds pushed together, constantly leaving an uncomfortable gap in the middle. Unless we repeatedly asked for it, there was no housekeeping service for consecutive nights. Breakfast was marred by an excessive number of flies, which I understand is a common issue in Switzerland. However, the view outside the window was absolutely stunning. I rarely write such detailed reviews, but I felt compelled to share my profound experience.

It's a hotel with vintage stuffs collection, the lobby seems like a vintage gallery with great collection. The staffs are friendly and there are various delicious choices for breakfast, including hot meal and fresh fruit ! They also gave free transportation tickets around interlaken for the whole period of stay. Will stay again in this hotel when visiting Interlaken. Thank you CE hotel !
The hotel room and facilities itself was very nice and comfortable. Just next to the Wengen train station.
Front desk service could be further improved.
This was hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our entire Switzerland trip. It's beautifully situated halfway up the mountain, about a 20-minute drive from the base. If you're self-driving or have a private transfer, I highly recommend choosing this place. The rooms are quite spacious, each featuring a kitchen, living room, and a balcony. The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning! The kitchen also comes with a microwave, which was very convenient for heating up food we bought from the supermarket. Breakfast was rich and delicious. Overall, a fantastic and highly recommended hotel!

Amazing service from the staff. Convenient as it’s close to bus stops which is free of charge within Interlaken and easy enough to the main station (Interlaken Ost). Gorgeous view from the room and nice to have the breakfast included in the morning

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Interlaken West Station. Interlaken itself mainly consists of one east-west street, so the distance from the hotel to Interlaken Ost (East) Station is just one bus stop, or about a 17-18 minute walk. Taking this walk basically allows you to see all of Interlaken. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and while I can't see your specific photos (Figure 3 for the bus stop, Figures 4 & 5 for the schedule board), it made getting around very convenient.
Breakfast was rich and delicious, a proper Western-style buffet with good bread. The hotel was clean, hygienic, and comfortable, though the beds were quite soft, which was a bit unusual for me as I'm used to firmer mattresses.
We booked a four-person family room. During our two-day stay, Interlaken was quite hot, and the room only had a standing fan instead of air conditioning, so it did get a little warm. This is likely due to it being an older building, where installing AC might not be feasible.
Overall, the service level was satisfactory.
The Schilthorn view room is great! The terrace faces the snow-capped mountains and dreamy slopes, so beautiful! The bathroom is also very large, and there is an open-air bath below. Although it is not big, it is still fun. I also gave you chocolates before leaving, thank you!
This was one of the best hotel I have stayed in Switzerland. The location was perfect as it was near the airport. The staff was friendly especially Miss Noel who had sped up the check-in process. My room was very spacious which can hold 5 persons. The room was very clean and the amenities was excellent. Overall I loved the hotel very much and would recommend anyone who has big family and want the space for their comfort. The price was reasonable and affordable. Thank you Hotel Allegra Lodge for having us. I am sure that I will come back again to stay at your hotel in the coming future. From a very satisfied customer. Regards!

Very Good
WWanderfieVery nice design hotel, new and spacious, but what it’s lacking is the warmness of the staff. Only the new girl working there is pretty nice, the rest of the staff has lukewarm attitude. The first room I got was nice, they gave me a double bed instead of a single bed that I booked but upon enter, there was a pair of socks hanging on the toilet door. Called the housekeeping and they removed it but also realised the room is very hot, but AC is not adjustable as it is centralised. So they gave me a fan instead. Later at night I also realised it was pretty noisy as the alfresco of the restaurant is right beneath my room. And then the toilet shower is broken. I tried calling the reception and housekeeping at 9-10pm but nobody pick up which I assumed it’s probably not 24hrs service. I bear with the broken shower. Next day morning I asked to change the room to quieter one but I need to get all my stuff out by 11am which I did. I went to the reception and told them about the broken shower, with no apologies, the guy just say ya ya, that’s an easy fix. I’m still glad they changed the room for me. But like I say still hope for a better service with the money I paid. Also not enough hanging area in the bathroom, especially when the first room I got… no hanging area at all, so can’t hang towel or clothes.
GGuest UserThe room is quite good, it included the kitchen in the room which is beneficial for the tourist. However, the room is smaller than my expectation. Overall, it’s good.
LLiliThe view from the window is very nice. The staff are very nice as well. But the room suffers from the noise from other rooms. If people come back late or wake up early you can hear their movements and talks. I was waked up in the early morning. But what more you can expect in this price.
TTurkiLocation: Excellent — centrally located and close to all essential services.
Cleanliness: Very good — rooms are well-maintained and regularly cleaned.
Family-Friendly: Highly suitable for families, with a quiet environment and comfortable amenities.
GGaoshangaoyeshanI booked a youth hostel by Lake Brienz because I wanted to bring my grown-up children to experience it.
The front desk starts work at 4pm. We arrived about half an hour early and waited on the chair outside the door.
Later, the front desk came out and asked and said she could work.
I took the key to the room and was given a low-rise with a backyard balcony, but the balcony was connected to the next door, a bit like the youth hostel in China.
The kitchen is shared and you wash the dishes and clean them up after use.
Some foreign youths are hostile and loud. If you are loud, they will restrain themselves. The sense of superiority and the desire to dominate can only mean that the quality is average, so don't mind it, just do your best.
In general, it's average. The sheets are clean. The three of us paid for a four-person room and there was no private bathroom, but the public bathroom and toilet were hygienic, not smelly or dirty.
Lake Brienz is beautiful in color and suitable for single stand-up paddling
爱爱爱丽莎It is about 20 minutes by train from Bern, the location is “rural”, there are farms, cows, etc. outside the window; the reception is warm, but not very English, breakfast is simple, 2-3 breads per person + tea or coffee + butter + sliced meat / cheese, etc.
ししん太The front desk staff were all friendly and left a good impression.
At first glance, it looked more like an ordinary private home than a hotel, but considering the location it was relatively easy to find and I didn't have to wander around looking for it.
The rooms were clean and safety was well ensured. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be that the shower and toilet were shared.
I happened to be in a room next to them so it wasn't too inconvenient.
Looking out the window with a small balcony gave me a sense of calm.
